What is it with these emails, Free Xbox, Laptop, PS2 etc etc, also all the Ebay cr4p that says get the name of a website when you can get an Xbox for 2p.

Obviously the old you dont get something for nothing applies here but whats the score, has anyone fallen for it ?

Not preaching, just wary after buying some ahem 'Studio Monitors' from a white van a few years back.... Did manage to get my money back against all the odds though, also managed to scam an extra 50 quid out of the scammers !

Complete cons - dont waste your cash.

Basically gives u a link to a site where to pay 20quid to go in a list, and every time 10 people join the top person gets an xbox, but obviosuly the longer the list the more people need to sign, so unless u are at the very top u wont ever get it.

I caught up with the company 'Acoustic Reference' in London and spent a while pestering them, luckily there was a helpful website with other muppets who fell for it, I just kept on at them and the company seemed legit(ish) so didnt want the agggro, they thought I paid 200, it was actually 150 but they peeled it off a huuuge roll of cash.
