Had nothing but problems with them - my digital TV now comes in through a dish

had the digitv through them. Now just use them for broadband and phone. Got Sky+ now that is a much better package IMHO.

Thumbs down

Might look at changing my digi tv package too: the set top box needs rebooting at least every three days, the remote is very poor, ergonomically, and the interactive stuff just takes so long

Alcazar - got fed up too. The actual digital service from NTL is OK - not great, but OK. I've just ordered Sky + which will be installed on Wednesday - this is the way to go (and it's going to work out cheaper than NTL, so it's a no brainer really). I am going to keep my NTL cable Internet connection as this has been very good and the performance is great (especially now it's been upgraded to 750k (or something like that)).

If you go to the NTL web page there is a link were you can email a complaint. Takes a while to get back to you but better than getting pi**ed off on hold with ****ty music and winding you up even more. Had very bad experience with them, my year contract runs out on 11th November and already got the letter of cancellation sorted! Got the phoneline internet & Xbox live through them and there was a fault with the phone so they came to fix it, dug up half my garden along with loads of new plants bushes etc and wrecked it all, left the plants sat on top of the soil with roots exposed and trampled anything that was still in the ground! Big kick off!!

Yep another dissatisfied NTL customer here!!!

Since they did the menu 'upgrade' a few months ago the box needed rebooting daily as it'd just hang!!!! really fu*king annoying.

I am now a very satisfied Sky customer.

I wouldnt touch NTL with a dead dogs ****!

Sky + installed today Very impressed so far. The service has been great too. Order was placed via the Sky website on Sunday morning. I was offered an installation today (Wednesday).

By this morning I'd received all the paperwork and viewing card. Engineer called me this morning to confirm the installation and the time he would be arriving. He arrived on time and it only took an hour to put up the dish, install the box and wire in the telephone extension. Everything worked first time. Great customer service so far - many companies could learn a thing or two from Sky.
