Default Online Surveys - Are they legit ?

Just wondering, seen a lot of these get paid for your opinion blah blah, just the one time joining fee of $30 etc.

Just wondering as I could do with $120 a day for an hours work. I've always assumed the worst with these assuming they are all scams. Has anyone ever had a successful one ?

So, stop me if I am wrong, you pay them and then fill out their surveys?

no, you pay them a fee and then they send you to people who want surveys doing and then you fill em in and they pay you per survey. Yes it sounds well dodgy, but on the other hand, it may not be. Odds on it is, hence why im asking

So... you pay $30 upfront and just wait, and wait, and wait...

C'mon, if there were people wanting to actually pay people for their opinions, they're hardly going to ask YOU to stump up the cash, are they? Even if there's an agent acting on behalf of these rather generous market researchers, the researchers would surely pay the agent to find willing volunteers, wouldn't they?

Anything which asks for your money upfront with no guaranteed commitment in return is overwhelmingly likely to be a scam, IMHO. In this case, just ask yourself why that $30 can't be taken out of the $120, so you just receive the $90.
