ever so I would have thought - I managed to get six in a month a year or so ago, both sneaky vans hidden away outside my usual patch - very rarely boot it in areas I don't know well these days - regardless of road type and condition - losing your license could be very, very easy

LOL, never had any points in 13 years of driving and hopefully won't get any anytime soon.
I do drive around like an old fart though, because I tend to drive at/under the speed limit depending on conditions. Doesn't save you much time unless you are doing ludicrous speed or a huge journey
Apologies for being sensible

No points yet but I guess I may burp or fart as I pass by a speed camera, inadvertently increase the pressure on the accelerator and become a hardened criminal

Very few scameras around these parts, so touch wood things have been fine.
I don't know how some folk can keep their license with the amount of scameras in some areas

Not a single blemish on mine. Waiting for the day though, cant be far off. Working the law of averages I've had a clean licence since 96 when it was issued, I'm overdue for some.

pointless as well touch wood. although may have had a close shave on sunday on way back from derby meet.
they put a cam van on the only bit of straight for 5 miles just to catch people overtaking, only hit 60 overtaking so panic was over after spotting the van and i'd glanced at the speedo.
y do people insist on doing 40 in a national 60 zone!!!!! grrrrr!!!!!!!!

Ever since i passed my test (1990 ssshhhh!), I have manged to get done every three years...as soon as I have a clean license I get done again. This year, offense expired and then get done on an SP60 on the M6 toll within a month!

In nearly 19 years, I've accumulated 16 points - not all at the same time though. Been clean for the last 4 years, so averaging over 1 point a year.
Never got points driving my WRX, but did get points driving a 1972 Mk I Escort and a 1.0 Citroen AX (amongst others). Most of my points I got in sh1tty Dorset - speed trap county.
I'm now in the fortunate position that I have a UK licence for driving in Canada and a Canadian one for driving in the UK, if you know what I mean...

I'm clean, got told off doing 65 in a 30 a couple of months ago, I was on a country road and had no idea of the speed limit. The policeman who stopped me was lovely and let me off with a warning. Must have been my honest face
