It's probably a bit too specialised a subject to have much info freely available. have you checked out the HSE website? Depending on what sort of application you are looking at, they may have some downloadable info.

Odd isn't - with all that is known on ergonomics, we still have to endure the most archaic, badly designed, most uncomfortable seats ever known to man on almost every commercial aircraft that's in the sky (excepting 1st class and the pilots seat).
The public (paying customers) should really kick up a stink about it so the industry pulls their finger out. The technology and materials exist, yet they won't fork out
