Daughter boked in car
The wife was bringing the children into the house last night from the baby minders, my daughter Lucy was complaining of a sore tummy. She brought the wee fella in first and left Lucy in the car. Fair play to her she was trying to get out as the child locks are on in the back.
She boked all over the center console down the sides of the front seats and over the carpet.
I had to take the console out to get it cleaned up. There was boke every where.
I got it cleaned up but I'm sure the smell is still there. How do I get rid of that?

LOL, you have me sympathy but I can't help laughing. Sorry
You may need to strip down the console to get most of it off the plastic trim. As for the seats/carpets, they might need professionally cleaned.
Puke + magic trees is not a nice smell.
A m8 of mine puked down the side of my car once. He'd have walked home (after a kick in the bo!!ocks) if any of it landed inside the car.
I was pi$$ing myself laughing with him puking out the passenger window @ 50mph with a stream of puke coming out his mouth and all down the side of the car. He looked like one of those dogs with huge flappy cheeks and flem streaming down their faces

I puked in my old vectra gsi once after a night of dinner and too much red wine. The wife was driving (which is why I puked I told her!), managed to get my head out the window, but most of it blew back in and landed on the rear parcel shelve as she refused to slow down from 90mph to get home! Woke up the next day to find quite a mess inside and outside the car, I'm sure it got the neighbours talking!!!

lol, I've also been to the nasty place that is car vomiting. Unfortunately I was sitting behind my mates gf at the time, and she bore the brunt of my projectile vomiting, on the back of her head :O To say she wasnt happy was an understatement lol. My happy sack has never been the same since. He had to clean out the whole car the next morning as well before work, oh how I laughed

My old boss was a work function where the big boss from down south came up, fierce woman, looked a bit like Mrs Thatcher. He got totally rat-ars*ed (not like him) and after five courses and too much red wine turned pale, then green, and reached under the table in a panic barfing into her handbag.
She saw the funny side of it, which I thought was pretty decent in the circumstances.

My eldest son barfed in our new Impreza when it was less than 2 weeks old
I cleaned it out with hot soapy water, then went over it with Auto-Glym upholstery cleaner, finishing off with a good spray with Febreze while still wet.
It had been all down the rear of the front passenger seat and the carpet too.
It never smelled afterwards.
Just be thorough.

borked - doing the motions of being sick but nothing coming out
boked - thought you'd spelt booked wrongly...lol never heard of it
puked - well disgusting how ever u describe it
thats how I understand it anyhow
Ive always carried asda shopping bags in the car, often going to the football my brother starts to feel sick and its easier to let him be sick into 1 of them and clean himself up with baby wipes 9always handy to keep in the car) then stoop and dispose of later, no lasting smell and no horrid chore of cleaning up

I used to get very sick in cars as a kid.
I would recommend against the carrier bag idea unless you put sellotape over the holes in the bottom that are intended to prevent babies from obeying Darwin. A teacher tried that one because they couldn't be arsed stopping and it dribbled quite spectacularly out of both holes onto her shoes.
OTOH, while puking out the passenger window at a set of traffic lights (left turn only lane) we were undertaken by a lycra clad cyclist, hilarity ensued as this was in the days before they had lanes that legitimised this dangerous practice.

Febreeze
My son used to be very susceptible to car sickness - seemed to have no relationship to speed or type of road - he was just as capable of chundering at a steady motorway speed and an enthusiastic cross country jaunt.
We started carrying sick bags everywhere and eventually educated him into chucking into the bag.
He seems to be OK now though.
Febreeze was the only thing that ever got rid of the smell and even then it took a good few applications of the stuff.

Had my daughter do this earlier in the year after a very spirited run around the bendy bits of the swiss alps. Get rid of the smell by putting down some bicarbonate of soda and leave it for a good 5 - 10 minutes before hoovering it up. Job done.

Carrying sick bags around is deffo the best option.
With regards to cleaning it, disinfectant of course to get rid of any bugs.......then bi carbonate of soda as someone suggested above, topped up by some Febreze.
Good luck though! Spilt milk is also as bad to get rid of the smell if left overnight......
