What is the going rate now if using your own vehicle travelling for your employer.
I`d like to get an idea not to think that I am ripping him off, or he me.
Do you have to be in a union in order to dispute the employers figures if it is costing you more than he`s willing to pay.

IR figures are 40p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, 25p per mile thereafter. If you're getting less than this, you can claim a tax rebate on the difference.
