On his alleged salary he could have bought something much better. However, on seeing the 'quality' of his pictures I'd say it was too good for him.

Well, this vote will simply show how many Scoobynetters have more money than sense.
Lets make it fair - is the D70 worth £400, yes, £400 MORE than the 300D
However much money you have you do NOT waste £400! and if you want a top camera you don't buy the D70 .............. there are better cameras out there - take the 10D and 20D for example?
Oh, yes, forgot .......... the 300D IS a 10D and the 20D IS a 10D

A 20D does NOT equal a 300D!
20D = 8MP, 300D = 6MP
20D = 5fps for 40+ shots, 300D = 1.5fps or something for about 9 shots!
...and that's just for starters.

I paid £700 for mine, in the UK too, so please tell me where you got yours for £300, I wouldn't mind one for a backup!

Snigger, going by his pansy potter photo attempt I'd be inclined to say yes, but then he'll claim some sort of senile phyrric victory, soooooo, overall for the multi millionaire he claims to be, I'd say he was wrong on cost especially, and now he's proved he's a cheap git with no cash to spare, who now owns a plastic fantastic silver surfer kids toy
