Default Halfords not what you think.

At the weekend (sat) i went into Halfords to purchase some car spray paint (300ml) A colour, a primer and a lacquer and if you buy three you get one free. so i did just that. paid my money and got one free. They are £4.99 for one 300ml can, so £14.97 - 1 (free one) = £9.98.

On the sunday i went back into halfords to return the spray cans as i did not need them for what i was going to use them for. and i got my £14.97 back. and that was it. so i came better off after returning the spray cans than when i brought them. my dad said i could make a living of of doing this...he he he what a turn up for the books.

Halfords do sell some good items, but are quite highly priced.

I also got a deal at the weekend at halfords.

Bought a Saris bones bike rack.

Big 'special price' tag of £99.99. When I looked beneath the 'special' tag I noticed the original/old price of £89.99!! Cheeky *****.

Well I took it to the till and of course £99.99 comes up so NO I says, look at the price tag on the shelving (someone must have hidden the 'new special expensive price tag )

So they do it for £89.99

NO I says, you seem to have forgotten it's 10% of everything in store today

£80..bargain
