Here is the tracking so far, most recent at the top:

04-10-2004 15:21 Glasgow Central Depot On route to hub
02-10-2004 06:18 Glasgow Central Depot Arrived at delivery depot
01-10-2004 22:03 National Hub Sorted in hub
01-10-2004 09:35 International Hub En route to delivery depot
30-09-2004 23:52 International Hub Arrived in destination country
29-09-2004 06:31 Delivery Agent - MIAMI Left origin country
28-09-2004 15:54 Delivery Agent - UNITED STATES AMERICA Collected from customer
Its supposed to be on parcelforce 24 once it hits the uk, so i went to pick it up from the depot on saturday as i didnt pay extra for weekend delivery, only to be told that my GL (gloucestershire) postcode had been misread as G1 (glasgow) and had been sent up there.
Very annoying as i needed them for work saturday night.
I was promised it would be re-sent to the main distribution centre first thing monday and would be with me on tuesday morning.
Surprise surprise , package hasnt turned up and according to the tracking, it hasnt moved since 2am today.
So it was less than 2 days to get across the atlantic, yet its taken (so far)6 days to get across the uk
If they arrive battered and/or broken after being up and down the country several times im going to be even more pi5sed off.
On the plus side, i have avoided any import duty and vat which is a bonus
First- and last- time parcel farce will be used methinks.

I know what you mean but I had stuff sent from the states using a carrier other than Parcelforce. It came from the west coast, via a hub on the east coast to Cologne in Germany to Dublin (I live in Ireland) in less than 24 hours.
Once it landed in this bog hole of a country it took another 5 days to get to my door. I can only assume that they'd run out of carrots for the donkey.

Parcel Force are sheeeyte!
I and a friend were having £3k's of mountain bikes delivered from London; one to Stafford, the other, Liverpool.
They were sent out on Thursday night in readiness for Saturday delivery (which we paid extra for). The ba$tards 'lost' the bikes until they were miraculously found on Monday afternoon. No apology was issued - the driver was very much of the opinion that "that's life!".
They're incompetent, lying, lazy-arsed prats who I'll never be using again. I'd recommend you don't too...
