Question Going to University....whilst looking after a baby?

Hi

Just wondered if anyone knew about what bursaries etc were available to people who have small children while they attend university, do you get any help? Childcare help etc etc.

Thanks

Unhappy

Some places have very cheap or even free creches, with places avaialble for babies from 0-5 years, the college near me does certainly, and it's affiliated to Lincoln University.

You have to be fully enrolled to qualify.

Places are like gold dust though:

could try open university, i suppose. however, the idea that you are going to be able to do anything much whilst at home (other than wipe up sh*te etc) soon disappears once the baby arrives.

Contact the SU of your university. Most will be able to help in some way.

i don't really find it boring - just time consuming. it helps if there are two people though, to spread the load a bit.
