Hotels in Glasgow
I want somewhere nice to take the missus for a shopping trip.
It needs to be close to the centre and no more than £100 per room per night. Secure parking as well of course (my anti-theft Skoda badges aarently no longer work).
Cheers
Steve

Visit Scotland Good luck! Took me ages on Wednesday night to get sorted with a hotel for 6 of us. Do a search on Google as well, there's loads of sites.

Why go shopping when you are in Glasgow? Stay in your hotel room and the scallys will bring the goods to you.
All hotels there are on wheels anyway, so you'll probably wake up somewhere different.
Just remember to tie you car up with the chains provided and it will follow the hotel.

You want to take your wife somewhere nice so you are taking her to Glasgow?
I only go through there if I have no choice in the matter whatsoever.

Used the Holiday Inn Riverside (3*) at 122 Stockwell Street, Glasgow Central G1 4LT last time I stayed in Glasgow.....
Sat night, got twin rooms for £40 (ie, £20 each) per night. Hotel is all you need, and is just a street or so from Central Station. Has a useful bar for late night drinking when you get back...
Clean, tidy, modern, central. What more do you need.

Aye well i knew some negative comments would come up about Glasgow. Did you know it the second top place to shop in the Uk. It is not as bad as people make out. Trust ECaire to have a problem with it...some things never change
