Question A place in Stoke on Trent?

Right, I need to know if a place exists in Stoke.

I only faintly heard the name being used over the telephone to somebody else, but it sounded like EL SAGERS.

I know that won't be the correct spelling but it is how I think I heard it.

I'm sure I got the Stoke bit though.

Any ideas please?

Alsager?

Multimap

Technically classed as Cheshire by county but has a S-o-T postcode (IIRC).

Thanks guys, that'll be it.

I'll investigate the place further but if anybody can tell me if it's a big place, busy place etc I'd appreciate it.

Depends on what you compare it to. Much smaller than Stoke or Newcastle-under-Lyme. Has a fair few shops and bits around the crossroads in the middle.

House prices are usually more expensive than Stoke (must be the Cheshire tag).

Anything else?

Thanks Chris. I've just found Alsager.com so I'll have a look.

I need to find a specimen of low life who stole a few quid off me and wondered what the odds of going there and seeing him were.

I lived in Alsager for a few years

It is a very tiny place, chances of finding them are very high

It only has a single road in the 'High Street', and a handful of pubs

The Police Station, well imagine Heartbeat TV show, and your not far off
