I know its been mentioned before but I only just watched this last night.
Some of the things that happen to him and during the film I found quite disturbing.
my GF didn't really get it while I'm close to tears at the end. Might have to be one for the collection. Needs to be watched when in a good state of mind IMHO.

A truly brilliant film, made me think for a while. Some parts are a bit disturbing but i though it was handled well.
The kind of film that finishes and your still staring at the TV screen 5 minutes later...

My GF and I found the basement scene very disturbing - love it when he goes back and gives him a mouthful. Fair play to Eric Stolz to play such an unforgivable part.
The scene where the baby opens the mail box had my GF and I exchange glances of disbelief - that just doesn't happen even in horror movies.
Very clever the way the father knew instantly what was going on and explains his fathers reaction and behaviour.
You really feel for the character and just want him to straighten things out and then to realise what he has to do to give his friends better lives. I choked at the end big time (soppy sod) my GFs asking me why didn't he go back to a certain point and I couldn't answer.
I guess some films hit a nerve. Found it more thought provoking than Donnie Darko actually.

Worst for me was the baby lifting the mailbox - just not right and no horror movie I know takes on babies!

Get the DVD, it has an alternate ending
Tis an excellent film, by far one of the best I have watched this year
As said above, a well thought out, written & directed film
