Sigma Lens query
Calling on the combined experience and wisdom of SN camrea crew, does anyone have any thoughts or experiences (esp with D70) with the Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 EX DG ASPHERICAL DF?
Looks like a good spec at a good price.Would be interested to see if the AF is as fast as claimed.

My bro has one. The zoom ring seems very "laboured" when you turn it due to the amount of movement in the focal length and the lens looks wierd, extended at 24 and short at 70. TBH I prefer my new 24-60mm F2.8 EX DG mainly as its short and doesnt throw a shadow when using the internal flash. I would seriously consider trying before buying on this one.
