The farmer in a place I go to in Cornwall has one. We came face to face around a blind corner on a country lane, I stopped he didn't! He ended up just missing the front of the car and went head first into a hedge!

He was fine luckily, in fact he came out of the hedge laughing (probably more in embarrassment)

Either they have crap brakes or he has crap reflexes!

Quite a few of these in Swindon actually, looked at getting one a couple years ago but hardly anywhere sold them. Now I find a shop on the road I live in actually sells them lol. You can drive them on a car licence too.

We've got a farmer here in Devon who has also got one. I don't know whether it is legal on the road or not but no one seems to bother anyway. He gets around pretty quickly on it and its amazing what he can carry on the back!

Afaik they have to be registered for agricultural use, hence seeing farmers using them on the road.

Having said that I know of a few highly tuned quads that use the fields a few miles away. I'm not talking 4 stroke farm quads either but 2 stroke wheely popping monsters.

They obviously exploit the law when registering them and maybe it would explain why they all seem to have the surname Giles.

I personally want the most high powered & sweetest looking road legal one you can have (with off road tyres sitting in the garage)

So the new question is can i make a Yamaha Raptor Road Legal ????????????

Imagine the look on the faces of a few high powered cars with one of them beside them

There was feature on them in the motoring section of the Scottish Sun yesterday. Made by Kymco (sp?) that do all the cheapo cruiser look 125's. Comes ready for the road. Only a car licience required and you don't even need a helmet. Sounds a bit limp wristed tho.
