I love watching Ray Mears programmes but whoever has decided that the background noise on tonights show needs constantly squeeking birds needs a hearing test

It is so distracting. It just sounds like a badly oiled shopping trolley rolling over cobles.

It can't just be me surely

I muted the sound because I thought there was a bird loose in the house somewhere. Yes, it was a bit distracting.

More distracting I find, is the loud music and singing in the background when presenters are talking, that seems to be creeping into more and more programmes these days.

Through the Keyhole, is a case in point. Don't watch it anymore because of it.

Another one is Gardens Unplugged. Grr.
