Lads holiday in Nov - where to go?
Hi All
Some of my uni mates and I fancy going somewhere for a long weekend in November. Eastern Europe seems the most appealing given (we hope) cheap booze and randomness factor. Not Prague as it's too obvious and some have been before.
Thoughts so far are Copenhagen, Bratislava (Slovakia), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Budapest, Tallinn (Estonia) or Graz (Austria). Anyone recommend any of those or somewhere else?
Needs to be cheap and easy to get to, preferably with flights from Manc or EMA (but most of the above are from Stanstead with the budget airlines). Otherwise we just want it to be cheap enough and with some stuff to keep us amused .
Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Ben

Tallinn. Its a lovely city, my family is from Estonia, and trust me the women in Tallinn are all knockouts Beer is cheap too, except in the main square but then you expect that! Food is also superb and pretty cheap
Only prob is flights can be a bit of a pain/expensive as not many airlines fly there. Though you could fly to Helsinki and get the boat/ferry across to Tallinn as its not far.

Cheap booze, cheap food, lovely *cough* scenery.
I also went on a stag do
Hotel Cloister is very good - not really cheap but not bad. Flights were about £120 for us. Earlier you book, better price.

Cheers for the replies everyone. Would go to Prague if it's that much better than the others, if the others are on a par though we'd like to try one of those. Anyone tried both?
Budapest is looking like the cheapest option, Tallinn and Sofia not very easy or cheap to fly to. Will look into Warsaw.
Thanks again,
Ben

Cool had missed the Easyjet flights somehow. Any hotel recommendations for Tallinn? I'll try to price it up and discuss with the lads.

Yeah mate, I stayed here:
http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll...=&spsi=&crti=4
It was a nice 3* by our standards, restaurant was fine etc, just make sure you don't get a room by the air con fans
Its a bit of a distance from the centre/sights (but only around a mile!) but nothing a short walk in doesn't cure, or the transport links in from it are fine with bus and trams quite regular!
