OMG what a weird film!!!
This has to be one of the scariest films ive seen lol, Im being serious here! Forget your Nightmare and Friday 13th films. I jumped on several occasions and so did a good number of the audience!!!
Everytime i see a M. Night Shyamalan film i end up leaving the cinema freaked out lol, and it was only The Sixth Sense that was a 15, the rest were 12s lol
I think its the fact theyre more pschological than horror films, but they seem to do the trick!!!
I havnt bothered describing the film as, with all his work theres a twist that needs to be seen!!!!!

Saw it on Sunday. I thought it was excellent, then when I got home I read some of the reviews - which mostly slate it !
I think in the States it was marketed as a frightener, so if people (or reviewers) go in expecting that it will seem a bit tame. It is (IMHO) a well-made film with some really deft psychological twists and turns and a very 'dark' atmosphere. It was criticised for the dialogue being stilted (but I think that's deliberate, you'll understand later) and the final 'twist' being completely obvious (I didn't think it was).
It needs some thought to appreciate it, but too much thought might spoil it.

Unfortunately I went into the cinema with the wrong type of mates to watch it. Thought it was ment to be scary, so me and a group of Lads went. Not the type of film to watch in group like that.
However I thought it was an interesting movie to try and work out, managed to work out loads of stuff before it happened yet managed to miss the fact that she was blind for ages.
I do think the music in the film had a very large part to play and made the film very dark/cold. Full marks to the composer.

The fact that she is blind is no twist at all, it is blarringly obvious, I was just pointing out that you can be looking out for the twists so hard and miss the stuff which is starring you in the face (no pun intended)

Afterall - let's be honest - Bruce Willis' "twist" in the Sixth Sense is not far off that...

You don't pay much attention to film reviews then? Every one I have read has made specific mention of, to quote but one:
"the outstanding debut performance of Bryce Dallas Howard, as BLIND girl Ivy"
