Default Vodafone insurance claims

Anyone know if are there any 'wriggle out' clauses by Vodafone insurance I should know of? I am just going to tell them the truth and say I stupidly left my lovely new P900 on a table in a pub cos I got drunk by accident, unintentionally...

[Interestingly the pub manager when I called today remembered it was a ‘nice phone’ , but he didn’t have it even though I told him it was all locked up on phone and PIN...]

Err yes! It's not clever to say you left it as that is not covered...

I would have told you that if I had read the post. However - you can still say it has been stolen. IE - You set it down and when you went back to collect it someone else had taken it.

Glad car insurance doesn't work like that.

'Sorry sir, your car isn't covered for theft unless you are with the vehicle'

phone them up, tell them its OK, you found it. Phone them back 20 seconds later and tell them its been stolen.

Alternatively, try your house insurance. A decent contents policy should cover personal possesions away from home. If yours doesn't, PM me and I will sort you with insurance that does . (wont help this time, but it will if you leave something else in the pub )
