Number Plate Attachment
Whats the best way to attach the front number plate? Whenever I drill into them, they tend to crack. Even when drilling from the back and using a special drill bit.
Are the sticky pads from halfords enough to hold the front ones on, even when driving on private track (e.g. 100mph+)
I've just bought new plates, and really don't want to crack them (again)
P.S. My drill is just a cheap b&q and doesn't have variable speed.

My plate has stayed on with Halfords stickies for over a year, speeds up to 130 UUM*

LOL @ Jaybird-UK's UUM
The VX220 guys use heavy duty velcro to hold their front plates on (so the plate falls off if they tap a kerb with them rather than break the front bumper).
My mate got his velcro from B&Q. It's been good for speeds around 140UUM apparently.
John.

The heavy duty Velcro strips from Halfords are very good. Make sure you clean the surfaces off with meths before sticking them on though. Petrol is not so good for that job.
They sell two types of Velcro strip, so you have to look for the heavy duty one.
