The prodigy - girls
after seeing some posts on here the other week I hadnt heard anything from the new album and have to say this is a pretty cool tune, think I'll go and buy the album.
Talk about train-spotters delight, it's got some humanoid by stakker samples, d-train you're the one for me loops, and a large part of the melody and the lyrics are taken from an obscure track called style on the street which is on an old streetsounds UK electro, i was very impressed!

I've got to say I am disapointed with the whole album.
Apparently he ditched the 1st album because he said his equipment wasn't up to scratch anymore and completed this one instead using Reason.
It Just doesn't have any stand out tracks. Buy the Freestylers Album instead...Much better!

b4,
yes I read about the whole album being done using reason which considering they were **** twiddlers with things such as the TB303 and drum machines which I think lend themselves very well to experimentation seems a real change of direction.
did they (the prodigy) take their name from the moog keyboard of the same name?

Can't wait for the album, I'm glad Liam Howlett appears to have gone back to the original Prodigy format rather than letting Keith Flint have all the fun.
Have to say though, it sounds like Aphex Twin stuff from 5 years ago...
