In other words, it could actually make it round the whole corner at speeds over 10mph!

I had an original bonnet in my Bedroom as a teenager - Usual poster as well alongside the Countach...

Then my Uncle decided to use it a base for his CB Antenna and drilled a soddin great hole through the middle it to mount a friggin whip...

Upset? A touch.. but he gave me a 1/4 wave whip (mounted in a tree outside my bedroom) and a top of the range Midland CB rig and power amp to compensate my loss.. (bit of a 'del boy' who threw his money around + he had a CB shop in Leeds that was doing quite well..)

I wasn't mad for long..

It would have a Scoob on the Straighties, and wheres you f*ckin great eagle on your bonnet, best you lot can manage is the odd dead sparrow in the IC Scoop on the bonnet !

I remember working in a pub in 1989 and the local flash bloke/grumbleweeds look alike hairdresser/wide boy/ Bee Gees wannabe had a 6.6 Turbo one which I would imagine was a horrendous contraption, remember seeing him leave in full gold regailia (Chains, ID Bracelet, rings etc etc, perma tan, boufont), pissed as usual, booted it up the hill and ended up facing the way he came, tried to look like he meant to do it and carried on going the way he had ended up !

Any ideas as to what power a 6.6 Turbo one had ?

My dad had one for about a month, Then figured out how much he was spending on fuel.

It went, and in its place was a nice shiny new mk1 Golf GTI

Plus it looked a little out of place in Carpenders Park Watford

Classic movie!! the guy that played the Sheriff is hella funny!!

Loved the bit where she looks at the speedo and says "110!! do we really need to be going 110?"
Which sounds pretty fast when you're a kid, but if you notice the speedo is in km/h so in fact 110 is in fact a whopping 70mph!!!! woooooooooooooooooo!!!

its not changed much, a colleague of mine has a 3.2 litre v8 big coupe thing, ugly as hell, yellow, yellow alloys. When i was last over there he showed me his rolling road figures 189bhp, and he fitted a supercharger and zorst which brought it up to 256bhp but the torque was massive.

still pissed myself laughing when I saw it.

i think it is a sebring or something

I loved that movie as a child - but I noticed that they seemed to have dubbed a "NASCAR" soundtrack over the top - sounds like it's doing 7-8,000 rpm at times ........
