I'm sure it'll be one of the typical freaky trading days where the Dow stays around -100 all day, and then finishes +50 in the last half hour....

Coming back a bit now, but 32k was absolutely dire. Fed August hike in some danger now, or at least any more after that for some time....

Tue at 7.15pm should be interesting......could see a big swing one way or another.....always a good opportunity for cleaning up on some binary bets.

Point is - with binaries, you can bet BOTH ways for little outlay if expecting a big swing....ie, a >+-50-70pt movement on the DOW at 7.15pm can be had quite cheaply. Quite often see a +-100pt swing on fed days.

You don't have to invest in the stockmarket though. But people believe they should as it must always go up over time. This isn't true, and people can get burned badly. I think it's very risky to hold shares long term with this 'belief' that the price will come back. When all this is tied into pensions and mortgages there are definitely big potential problems.
