Coupling - new series - wheres Jeff gone?
Have been watching the latest series of Coupling - wheres Jeff gone? - he was the best character in it! - IMHO they have tried too hard to replace Jeff with a Jeff clone (Oliver) and it shows - it is a bit strained....
Mind you the girls are still foxxxxy tho....

Simply brilliant. Almost woke my son up laughing at last week's episode (where wotsit goes to her "safe room", then the knife appears cutting through the chair) but strangely my wife didn't find it quite so funny having given birth to a 10lb 11oz monster (thankfully through c-section, no "gore tunnel" trauma involved!)
Jeff has phoned a couple of times IIRC, at inopportune moments. Oliver is pretty good and quite different, as he's a sci-fi saddo rather than just clueless Welshman, but he's definitely there as the Jeff Comic Relief character.
Not watched last night's yet, so no spoilers please!
Will Susan give birth before the end of this series? That's gotta be the cliffhanger already.

- missed a couple of the new episodes and while they're still funny, the spark of the earlier series isn't quite there....have to try and catch next week

SHould have made that clear - Jeff was, IMHO, brilliant. Superbly observed, and seems to lack the internal filters that stop some/most people from saying what they're occasionally thinking - and also thinking bloody wierd things sometimes 
Perhaps it's because we've just gone through the pregnancy thing which makes it so funny for me?

Cracking prog but IMHO it is lacking without Jeff, doesn't quite have the same spark.
Think the Oliver bloke is a bit of a sh!te character myself. Still funny as though

Jeff made it work IMHO as said above the spark isnt there with out him. his inability to say the right thing is a very Familar experence! the women are fit especially Susan before the bulge arrived.

Not sure if I've seen this series but it did feel as though it began to lose its way a little.
Jeff is class and not unlike myself after mucho stella!
As for Sarah Alexander
OMG I'd sell any unwanted parts of my body to spend quality time with her - she was also really good in "the worst week of my life" now that was really funny too.
