Belter of a storm!!!
Just had the worst storm i've seen in this country here in Daventry royal oak 
In about 10 mins - car park under nearly 8-10 inches of water, dozen or so BIG trees uprooted and blocking main road,branches all over cars,lots of damage, all electric and gas off, public telephone network down, 3 trees right outside our office splitt/taken down by lightning, GET IN!!!
But 500 yards down the road, hardly any damage at all!

Ggggrrr - just heard all the depot (uk's biggest building!) is getting sent home as they cant work due to no lights and the lorries cant leave as the exits/roads are all blocked! But we're stuck here thanks to good 'ol UPS and generators,hhhmmmpppphhh

Watched it on the old radar. Monster with some big winds mixed in. Passed just to the east of me before heading up towards birmingham/Cov where it has explosively developed:
