Question Pay pal

Hi,
I reached my pay pal limit on Monday ($750.) Im have not spent(!!) that much but it says i need to become verified. What a *****-ache of a process, has anyone else gone through this process as im not sure what im actually doing by filing in all these forms and why i am doing it. Emailed paypal and they just copied and pasted the web page i was stuck on! It mentions i need to set up a direct debit, can i do this with an electron card?
If i canrt get this done i will get a negative rating for not paying!

I am paypal verified

You have to pay them $1.95
Then on your next credit card statement, there will be a code.
You enter this code into your account and you are then verified.
They will then refund the $1.95.

takes a few days if you have access to your credit card statement online.

Its quite straightforward

You cannot legitimately use an Electron card for 'cardholder not present' transactions.

OK done a bit of digging for you here (part of my business involves enabling web based transactions hence the interest).

It would seem that Solo are fine as they have always supported 'cardholder not present' transactions. Electron, however, there seems to be confusion over. It would seem that they do now support 'cardholder not present' transactions under some circumstances whereas up until 18 months ago they didn't.

Many companies have not amended their systems to take account of this hence the problem.

Hope this helps,

tiggers.

Tiggers, that's changed. Visa have approved Electron for CNP transactions but I suspect some issuing banks might not have followed suit yet.

Edit to say cross-posted with Tiggers

Cheers for the advice, getting sorted. Still a complete pain in the lower regions.
Thanx again
