First places to look are behind the sofa, down the side of the cushions and under the bed. Next progress onto more weird places like bathroom cabinets, fridges, freezers and tumble dryers. You'll be amazed how often things get accidentally deposited in the more weird places, and not found because you're thinking "I'd never leave my sense of humour in there, it's a fridge for god's sake."
If this is a regular occurrance I advise attaching one of those nifty bleeping/whistling keyrings to your sense of humour. Then if it gets lost again you just need to let out a litle whistle and it will bleep at you, allowing for easier location.
Hope you find it soon.

Found it................................................ ...
Oh, my mistake. Sorry it would appear that a sense of humour doesn't exist round here.
Ask Senior AP. He's probably got one "in his house"!

While you're looking for it MattW - could you tell me how many miles it is from Snowdon to Reading (I see you travel Wrexham/Swindon and could have a good idea)
And, whats the best way to travel on a Monday Morning?

The most direct route as far as A Roads and Motorways is concerned would be M4 to Swindon, A419 to Gloucester, M5 to M6 to M54 onto A5 through Llangollen right up to Betws y Coed.
The AA calculate the route at 229 miles.
If I was you I'd get off the M5 at Worcester North and head up to Shrewsbury cross country.
If you want scenery head for the A483 up through mid wales.
