Default What do you reckon - Scoobynetters?

I am selling a piece of furniture and had an enquiry posted from the website, I responded by simply asking what the enquirer wanted to know.

This e-mail has just appeared in my inbox, 3 times!!

"Thanks for the mailling and very glad to here from you that the items still for sale .
Pls before we proceed i will like to know you base in uk course i am not willing to purchase from whome is out of uk .
Further more i will be very g;lad to here from you if you are the original owner of the items as at present and kindly let me know the actual price you aint to sell it out to me as to proceed on payment .
Note i will have love to call you in person but i am having a slite problem with my line which i am promissing to call you with 100% assurance on or before the transaction comes to an end.
Thanks and awaiting to here from you ."

Looking into my crystal ball, I see either a foreign cheque made out for an amount larger than you want for the item and the rest to be forwarded to a friend of the buyer (and then in 6 weeks time the foreign cheque gets bounced by your bank, even thought they've cleared funds, at which point they take their money back) or the words "Western Union" will feature heavily.

Lottery numbers for the weekend will be 3 7 14 23 37 42 bonus ball is 18.

Strange that...his/her internet connection works well enough Web phone? Or god forbid...somebody in this country who doesn't have a mobile phone

I can tell you of several cases of a BT landline not working for a voice call but the ADSL on it still working.

Either way, I'll have my 50p on it being a scammer

Judging by the spelling it's from someone ON SCOOBYNET

I agree that its a scam though, the broken English and the phrases used are a dead give away!

What's the furniture? A dusty old chippendale table you found in the garage behind the outboard oil and the leisure battery?
