Are girls more trustworthy?
I'll tell you why i ask,there's a site on the net where i occasionally buy copied/pirate dvd's and the sellers that get the best response are always the girls.Its like blokes may rip you off but girls are so innocent and sweet they'd never do such a thing.
If i was selling anything dodgy on the net,i'd pretend i was a female,thats for sure.

Mind you it's always been the way to use a lady as a way forward in anything.
I myself have got some superb results in the past by asking my lovely one of the moment to deal with something that requires a hint of flesh to gain the best deal.
Men really are useless when they see a hint of breást coming towards them backed up by a confident female, all training goes out of the window as their little man takes over.
Similar psychology really.

I see,i think you'll find drug trafficking pays for itself quite well tho (i think the media will use anything thats not directly bad for you and tie it in with something else,more to do with multi million pound movie companys losing a few quid than funding drug cartels but whose gonna sympathise with that?)

The Police spokesman said weight for weight the DVD's were more valuable and carried a far lesser penalty, that's why the gangs are getting into it in a big way.
Can't see the point myself, pay £1000's for a good quality home cinema setup then watch a dodgy copy on it to save a few quid.

It will carry a far lesser penalty,dvd's don't become addictive and drive away your friends and family and pretty much mess up your entire life,and cause you to commit more crime to get another latest blockbuster
And your right i wouldn't bother with poor quality pirate copies on my system either lol

logiclee: it may not be worth watching a pirate copy on a £1000+ home cinema system, but on a £200 Argos DVD player/TV combo I'd challenge you or anyone else to tell the difference. Did I hear anyone say double layer DVD+R?

Well I think DVD's are good value as long as you don't pay high street prices, most on-line retailers have the latest DVD's for betwwen £10-£15.
Take off the costs of the disc, case, booklet and label, VAT, retailers profit, transportation costs and you are not left with a vast amount going to the Studio's to fund future film production. Stuff saving a few quid to watch a poor quality copy.
Then again in the days before DVD I was paying up to £60 for a movie on Laser Disc.

Sure these films cost a lot to make, and if I really want to see it I will go to the cinema and pay the entrance fee without complaining.
There a lots of films that I am really not that fussed about watching, but I would pay up to £3 or £4 to watch (cost of rental) I certainly will not pay £15 for a DVD which costs pence to make, and I will only probably watch it once or twice.
I do get the odd pirate DVD, but the film makers lose nothing as I would never have bought them at their prices anyway.
So reduce the cost, increase sales and put the pirates out of business!

Having said that, I think it is £3 to get a film from NTL box office, and even £6 for some of the 'ahem' saucy stuff.
