Talking Learning a new language

Hi,

My messenger tag is a small spanish town; because of which I keep getting mad Spaniards adding me to their contacts!

I have just spent the past 3 hours talking with a girl from Ondara; we could hardly understand each other even using a tanslator tool!

Anyway, what I am getting at is I would love to learn Spanish. I already speak enough german to get me by (I got by in Barcelona speaking german to the locals!) but I'd love to learn Spanish in more depth.

Is anyone else currently learning another language? Would you recommend an online course or an actual night class? Has anyone already done it?

I'm not really bothered about cost! I am open to all suggestions!

Ta

The best way is probably to take an actual class, there's no substitute for speaking the language with others and getting used to both speaking and listening. Check your local college for night classes, I think they're about £80 for a full course.

Concentrate on English eClaire... With a bit more practice, we English will be able to understand you.

Claire - the Rosetta Stone series on computers (PC's) are very good - kind of an advanced modern version of linguaphone

Cheers Daz! I looked at linguaphone today; it was about £240 for the whole lot which brings you up to about a-level standard. Will take a look at Rosetta Stone too!
