I'm trying to organise a stag do and have come up with the following plan :

- go karting at Teeside

- Chinese or Indian meal in Newcastle

- night out around Newcastle

I've been to Teeside go karting before and can vouch for the quality of this place, but I'd really appreciate some help booking the restaurant and advice on a night out around Newcastle.

Are there restaurants to avoid or are there any which are excellent ?

Any advice on a night out round Newcastle ? Best / worst places to go ? (You get my drift ) Does Newcastle have any comedy clubs worth going to

There will be 20 to 25 of us, middle aged (20 to 45 years old)

Hi, I'm from Newcastle, but have been living in Southampton for six years now, so I may be a bit out of touch! I was up there in October last year to watch Newcastle play Southampton ( we won, yay! ), and went with three other guys from down here, and we had an absolute riot. If you just want to go on a bar crawl, stick to the quayside or the Bigg market, if you want to end up in a club, there are loads at both of these places, if you want to eat, and fancy a chinese, the only one I've been told to avoid is the Red circle in Stowell St, ( Chinatown ), won't say why on here, just trust me! You'll have an excellent night out up there, just don't be ' rude ' to the locals, they're not renowned for their tolerance of fools! Good luck, hope you enjoy it!
