hi

you can buy 50cm x 100cm in B & Q of this stuff - 2mm thick and they want ~ 40 quid!

i need 2 sheets of around 40x60cm so would need to buy to of these sheets therefore 80 quid! that is mad.

their metal is about 4x the price of the local sheet metal dealer but as u would guess you need to by 2m x 1m sheets which is fine for steel etc but i dont need that much.

anyone know of anywhere that would cut/sell this sort of order?

Yes it's very expensive if you go to the wrong place (see the prices for chequer plate Land Rover bits....cheaper to get a sheet and a Jig saw )

After this very stuff myself now !! require around 8 feet by 4 feet off the stuff, not bothered about thickness, would prefer the 5 bar design rather than the rice grain style. 2 bits 4 feet by 2 feet would be fine and probably better for posting !!

anyone help me out ?? have tried all the local places where I keep getting quoted from £80 upwards !!! the ebay sellers only sell small off-cuts, almost given up !!

anyone got any or got any contacts that could sell me some at a more reasonable price ??!!

located fife in scotland, would be only too happy to cover all postage costs / material costs.
