I presume it's in the Makro mail, But I can't get it to work on their website at the moment
You need to register as a customer to get a trade card, so you can get into the stores.

Yes it does have everything needed for satnav and it is just plug and play. I'm not sure how much memory you will have left once the maps are loaded but you can always add a memory upgrade later.
If you are mainly buying it for satnav and not loads of mp3's and video the PDA should have easy enough memory to do all that you want
I've just been reading the write ups and for that price its a steal mate

Makros 10 mins max from where I live.
BTW dumb question time but does it offer audio signals of any kind or do you need to look at the map?

NO! You've already got one, you cant have another
Does seem a good deal though doesn't it. I reckon you'll be saving about £80.00 on what is a good deal anyway. Most combined packages are are around £400.00.

It is a very good price. A couple of points to note though. The iPaq 1930 is pretty much low end and low powered - it is a 200 Mkhz processor I think - most of the good ones these days are double that.
I believe this system uses the Mapsonic / ViaMichelin software. This is not the most up to date available and you will find that you will need to do some updates before venturing out! Also the Mapsonic database is huge. You will struggle to get the whole UK / Ireland map on a 256 Meg SD card (in comparison, TomTom 3 takes just over 100 Meg). They do include some software for your PC to help with this, but be careful. I don't know what size SD card they have bundled with this deal. It is worth shopping around, as the cost of a decent 256 Meg SD card might not make this such a good deal.
If you're happy with what you're getting then fine - but it pays to do some comparisons.
