Shrek 2
One of the best bits about the original was that most of the music was cool.. The music in the new one is generally rubbish. A couple of appalling cover versions, and a load of drivel. Of course, I can't possibly have seen it yet, it isn't even out.

I haven't seen it about 4 weeks ago and therefre couldn't of possibly formed the opinion that it using tired jokes and too many references back to the first one ....
Therefore I allegedly think it's crap and my GF who really enjoyed the first one could potentially be really disappointed with the comparison had she ever seen it as well

Saw it at my local cinema last Saturday.
I was a bit disappointed at the length of the film (or lack of). But overall, I laughed - a lot ! REALLY enjoyed it.
Thought the music was pretty good too, although the duet between Donkey and Puss doing living la vida loca was pretty awful.
If you liked the first, go and see the second - I loved it !

On a more serious note.... I think it's amazing how quickly copies of films are on the streets for sale these days
Probably something to do with incidents like this
Link to BBC news story today !

Saw it a few weeks back, and thought it was rather good. The music, hmm, well, title song is ok, rest of the stuff is, well, mildly entertaining. Did enjoy it though, my sense of humor.

Saw this at the cinema (yes, people still go there) last night with the family.
Bollox to you lot, I thought it was fantastic.
Great touch when she slings the mermaid out to sea, who promptly gets eaten by sharks.
When they started the Mission Impossible jailbreak, I had trouble breathing, I was laughing so much.
And the cutting rivalry between Donkey and Puss threatened to push Shrek off to a backwater. Utterly brilliant. "Hey sorry, but the part of annoying talking animal sidekick has already been taken!"

I really liked it and judging by how much the rest of the cinema was laughing they all liked it too.
I really liked the Hero remix coming up to the end of the film.
And I was also suprised to find that the ugly sister was not voiced by Jonathan Ross, sounded exactly like him?
But then again I am still convinced it is Ewan Mcgergor(sp?) doing shreks voice!!!!

It really took off when Puss in Boots came in, Antonia does a great job on the voice. Mike Myers STILL can't do a Scottish accent to save his life, that's the big downside of the Shrek series for me.
