Default Good news.............and bad news.

Good news.......

Had my 36000ml service done on my 01WRX today.

Plugs, Mobil 1 15/50, filters, brake fluid etc, the full hit.

Whilst it was up on the ramp I even cleaned the inside of my rims.

Then I washed it, and waxed it, as you do.

What next I thought ?

I know £40 of Optimax, and a nice blast, so off I went to the Shell Garage.

The car was driving really well, my anoying flat spot/hesitancey had gone (down to the plugs I reccon) and all was well.

At the Shell shop I began to fill up, pumps to my right and looking at the pump dispay......BANG, my car shook, what the f%&k was that ?

Bad news...........

Some **** had squeezed in next to me to fill his car up, and opened his door on my passenger door, but proper tw4ted it.

So now Ive got a six inch crease/dent down the side of my door, its my only dent, and its done my head in.

He said, " Sorry about that, my foot slipped !"

Since when do you open your door with your foot...FFS.

Anyway, we swapped names, reg's, and mobile numbers.

And Ill have to get a quote to get it fixed, but what a bummer, some people dont give a ****.

Later (not happy) Yoza.

People like that get on my t*ts, along with the pox-ridden people who like to open their car door right out into the road before looking whether there's something coming behind them.

Hope you get it sorted without too much fuss Yoza.

Had someone drive into the side of mine recently whilst it was parked up outside my house, put a nice dent in the passenger door/rear quarter, they drove off without leaving a note

I know how you feel, sickening isn't it? You have plenty of sympathy from me.

Some folks seem to think they just don't have to think about others as long as they use the word "sorry" as an excuse whether they mean it or not. Total lack of responsibility towards other people!

Sorry about the damage Yoza, hope you get the money out of him and that it is a big bill.

I witnessed a woman in a 3 series do something similar to this on sainsbury's car park a few weeks ago. She left a big groove in the car next to hers, looked at it, then got in her car and fooked off. So I left a note with her details on it & my phone number as a willing witness The guy has since been in touch, and apparently she is less than impressed that she's been found out

The car is going in to bodyshop in the next fortnight, new door, paint, and blend. With maybe a bit of overspray on the door sill skirts.

The guy has admitted to me and his insurance, whilst in my presence, that he was TOTALLY to blame. (And, no I wasnt squeezin his bo11ocks at the time).

Yet his insurance is telling him not to admit liability, whats that all that about?

Anyway my insurance said, dont worry, get it done, so I will.

standard reply from insurance companies. they will want to consult their legal team. the monkey he'd have spoken to on the phone is most likely told to say this.

I was told this by my insurance co once when i lost my golf & knocked somebodys gateposts down I did wonder at the time who they were going to try & blame It's as milo says, call centres work on the age old principle of 'pay peanuts, get monkeys'
