Paris Hotel?
Can any one recommend a hotel in reasonably central Paris that my daughter and 3 friends can use for a couple of nights in July which doesn't cost a fortune. Needs to be clean and call girl free. Budget would go to around £50 per head sharing. Perhaps I am being over optimistic?? Please give one you have actually used and not a friend of a friend of a bloke I met in a pub said.... Thanks, David

Depends on what you call central paris. Me and the mrs stayed in Hotel de France Invalides which was a 10 mins walk from the Eiffel Tower and looked over to the Hotel des Invalides which is Napoleons tomb.
Was 2/3* but very tidy and nice staff. Continental breakfast that was very nice. If all you want is a clean decent sized room with a shower then you cant go wrong. Cost us 85 euros a night for the room and 7 euros each for breakfast.

Thanks,
Simon.

Hey Simon - sounds just the ticket. I don't think a 10 minute walk will hurt. Will get on the case tomorrow. Thanks for the contact details. Merci Buckets. David
PS. Simon - was that 85 Euros per person or per room? Assume per person which is still pretty good.
