I was waiting for another Diana (our angel thread) - this must be one of the only things that winds me up on any bulletin board.
Lifes bad enough without sharing in other peoples grief, and probably a bit morbid.
Sorry about that - never one to bait people or say anything out of order on the board but that pisses me off.

Well, it is a shame he's gone and will not be making any more music.
I saw Billy Preston recently, he was touring with Eric Clapton, and he was just fantastic. He took the show to a different level and the man has soul. Ray Charles said, a long time back, that Billy Preston was the person he would like to carry on the work he (Ray) had started.
That remark was made nearly 40 years ago and I can assure you that Billy is indeed carrying on the work that Ray started.
It is sad to see Ray go but go see Billy Preston and get back out there and shake your tailfeather.
