Got a Sony F828 with spare battery, case and 1GB microdrive for £850 which wasn't too bad....

Camera alone was price matched to £595 with 'A J Electronics' (google it )

Another good option is http://www.internetcamerasdirect.co.uk/

Not sure how, price wise, competetive they are to say Jessops but I got mine from there a while back and have excellent service. They also print photos too, just done a whole load from the last 18 months and again they offer excellent service. I think, if you buy a camera from there or maybe just spend a certain amount, you get some freebies on the printing side too.

Try Park Cameras - a proper camera shop rather than a box shifter, and their prices are competitive too.

Try Rricerunner - if the cheapest site is in the UK, then print it out and take it into your local Jessops and they will price match it

http://www.warehouseexpress.com/. Top people. Box shifters, yes. But I cannot sing their priases high enough and they always seem to have stock of just about everything.

Still prefer to use my local London Camera Exchange if I can though.

Cheers

I'm in the process of searching for a digital camera due out this month. The following have been the best price predictors and the first in the list has actually said they should be getting it in any day now. All pretty good prices.
http://www.parkcameras.com/digitalca...canonindex.htm
http://www.bestcameras.co.uk/shop/ac...t_S60_946.html
http://www.berridgemail.co.uk/produc...productId=1565
http://www.prcdirect.co.uk/PRC/PRC.s.../product/PSS50
http://www.arcomdirect.co.uk/
https://secure.hitech-uk.com/acatalog/Canon_S50.html

Hope the above is of some help.
