David beckham - money gets you what you want!!!
Someone i know from another board posted this just now...
"A friend of a friend is getting married in a month or so, at a venue in Hertfordshire, anyway, the manager of the venue calls them up and says "we have a very big celeb who wants the venue the same day as you, are you willing to give it up" they say no obviously, cos its their wedding day, then the manager comes back to them and says "he's willing to give you 20k if he can have the venue, and they still say no, because its too short notice to get another place. then the manager comes back to them and says ok, he's now said he'll pay off your martgage, plus the wedding costs, and venue costs, so they've gone for that, turns out its David Beckham, how nice to have your wedding paid for and your mortgage all paid up! lucky buggers!"

Hes a top bloke, ive met him once, sadly it was at my mates funeral, he played for man utd reserves. The man utd team and becks turned out. Spoke to him briefly afterwards, hard knowing what to say at a funeral, but he really is a genuine bloke. Just a shame the papers love scandalism.

I think their cancelled marriage was more than a month or so - Becks is in Portugal for the next 5 weeks 
, unless England come home early 
So what exactly is this venue?
I fancy booking every weekend next year, on the off chance Becks wants to pay off a couple of my mortgages, a future wedding - I think I'll push for a 612 too

Same thing happend a friend of a friend of friend's girlfriend at my work over a hotel room at slayley hall. Beck's bunged them a few quid, they turned it down so he offerd to pay off there hoose so he could have there room.
