Gran Turismo 4: Prologue
Most of you probably know that GT4 Prologue is out on Friday. Were not getting the Full GT4 until November but its good that there is a taster in the meantime.
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?pa=s...2&title=171442
I read that Prologue uses the same game engine as A-Spec and Concept so we wont be able to enjoy the new driving physics unitl the full game is out at the end of the years. However with the full Nurburgring as one of the tracks thats got to be worth waiting for
Here are some of the cars:

Polyphony are STILL having trouble with the Online play... I reckon if it's out by Christmas, we'll all be surprised!
In the meantime, here's a little movie taster:

Check out the movement of the Cobra driver! :O

At last a game with what looks to be a very realistic model of the "RING"
maybe i can practice getting that line through Adenau Forst and when I virtual understeer into the virtual rumble strip it will only scuff my virtual wheels.
Instead of my real ones like in November
Oh well i will get it right with practice

Does anyone remember the days when the PS2 was about to be launched and all the hassle and pre-order stock shortage...
Anyway has anyone tuned a skyline on GT3, mines hit over 1000bhp and ran low 9s although it did handle like 3 storey house on wheels (prefered the 22b!)...although you can spend hours tweaking the suspension and tyre grip/softness etc.
Best game for ages....hope the 4th one is just as good or better

If anyone reckons they've got GT3 nailed and haven't done so, try using 'Simulation' tyres - They 'feel' about as grippy as glass! GREAT fun for drifting if you get your car setup right.
I use a 1005BHP Black R34, decked with ROCK hard suspension at the back! It doesn't face forward very often, but it can't half hold a sexy drift when you balance the trottle properly... Full opposite lock all the way round...
Ah - if only I could drive well in real life...
Google "Gran Dorifto" or click http://www.gtplanet.net/article25.html for more info and vids!
Enjoy!

If you want the ring go for Grand Prix Legends.
I have been playing it for 2 or 3 years - you can race online etc using VROC.
The Gfx are crap but you can download new skins that make it all look very nice indeed. There is a vid on the web some wehre - will find it an post.
Physics are the best of any driving game ever.
And the game is £5. Yes £5 whole poinds.
