Women Drivers ;)
My sister has managed to driver her car into the rear of somebody else, whilst sat in a traffic queue
"But wait" you say, "what's so bad about that?"
She was sat in the queue, with the car in first & her foot on the clutch, when a tiny spider rappelled down from the rear view mirror. Instead of leaving said beastie to go on it's merry way, she tries to move it by gripping it's webline. Sensing danger, our hero (the spider) lowers himself rapidly down the line, past my sisters leg, onto the floor. She panics, lifts both feet off the floor (remember readers where her left foot was at the time), and her car lurches into the back of a shiny new BMW
Now I ask you, would a man:
a. bother trying to move a spider humanely from his rear view mirror, and
b. panic at the thought of a spider on the floor of his car
<flame suit on>

And she should have been in neutral with her foot off the clutch whilst in staionary traffic...And people wonder why the clutch release bearings wear out on their cars
Tell her to clean the interior more often and it would have never happened
I scuffed an alloy once because a wasp was buzzing round my head

What is it with women & tiny creatures (spiders, mice, etc) that can be crushed with no more effort than that required to snap your fingers? Surely the spider should be more afraid of you

This has happened to me and is not funny, only exception is I was doing about 50mph, did an emergency stop and jumped out of the car squealing like a pig in terror.
...I'm gonna get roasted for this...

I nearly hit the back of a stationary truck when tryng to kill a fly, it was annoying me, I wasn't scared of it
Funnily enough, my mate just had someone reverse into him at a set of lights yesterday, as I started to read your thread I was thinking "I wonder if..."

I had a spider problem in the car a few years ago.
It dangled off the visor while I was on the motorway.
As scared as I was, I didn't do anything silly (even though my hair was blonde at the time).
I pulled into the nearest services and found a group of lads standing around a few cars. I asked them if one of them could get the spider out of the car...they were all afraid!
Being a group, I thought one of them would like to show the others how to be a real man, but no.
I then stood by the car asking everyone who walked by to get the spider and eventually someone did.
I felt so silly.

CrisP, be grateful the spider didn't actually land on your sister, or the accident would have been much worse.
Poor girl, it was all the spiders fault.
As for my silly story. It happened at j15a services southbound on the M1 three summers ago. I hope none of you were the scared people.
