How do you/ can you trace a car ?
My wife is taking her driving test, luckily she can't get insured on my car.
I would like to buy her what was essentially our first car L297 AVK.
Is there a way to trace who owns this car now ?
Thanks
Del

Hmm, a 10 year old yellow fiat cinquecento perchance? why?
Last sold 18th Feb this year. Only two ways I know to trace the current owner, a) via the police (pnc check) or b) ask the person you sold it to (if you know them) who they sold it to (if they have their details and are willing).

The odds are the policy are not going to be keen to help.
It was a lovely car (first car) 75mph slightly downhill.
Better on petrol and tyres than a B4

The likelyhood of the combination of the following
a) the car still being in good condition after 10 years grafting
b) the owner willing to sell (given they've just bought it)
c) it being anywhere local
are slim. If you like that model of car in particular then best search for a similiar model in the various classifieds.
