Default Another BBQ Question...

How do I stop food sticking to the grill of a gas powered barbecue For example, I put a chicken fillet on, and when it comes to turning it, half of the bloody think sticks to the grill

A simple question - I'm sure there must be a simple answer

Many Thanks,

Matt

To reduce the risk of any food sticking on a BBQ you need to coat the food in a little oil. I allways use Phillipo Berrio standard olive oil it works for me. Dont use virgin or extra virgin as that does not hold high heat very well it just burns giving a bitter taste. Or get one of those pastry brushes or even a cheap decorating brush and brush the bars of the BBQ with oil just prior to intruducing the food.
