£4.50....don't say you pay that for a watered down alcoholic cup-a-soup.

I seem to be in a minority .. I like it - especially with a lump of lemon in it.
Also big fan of leffe , duval, brugs et al.
BTW lobstermania starts again on 24th May @ Belgo/Bierodrome

Lekker!
Also quite a fan of the stuff. Find it very refreshing - especially on a hot summer's evening or whilst aprés skiing in the late afternoon sun. Deffo an outdoors sort of drink for me. I like German Weissbier and also the Dutch Wiekse Witte too, but drink almost any sort of lager. All this talk of beer is making me very thisty...

Yes, love it, but also love Leffe now as well (have a nice litre bottle downstairs).
First tried Hoegarden about 5 years back and have had loads since. Only problem is I now have hundreds of their glasses as you can only buy them with a free glass

Tried it, hated it. I knew it was an aquired taste at the time, but I still thought it was off and demanded it be replaced by a Stella LOL

Me likee, but it's a summer drink. Nice glass of Hoegarden on a summers day in a pub garden - washes the ploughmans down nicely !
But definitely an acquired taste.
Most lagers are like making love in a canoe !!! (Any excuse for a Monty Python quote ) But a cold Stella whilst polishing the car or mowing the lawn on a hotarse day can't be beat either
