Default Vasectomies - how painful?

Available on the NHS?

How long will the "ol boys" be out of action for too?

Had mine done privately as waiting list was too long on NHS.Cost was £80 which was a snip

As for pain, I had none because I did as I was told by the surgeon ie tight underpants and do bugger all for a few days.

Go for it.

Chip.

Somebody I know had one done at a Harley Street clinic. God knows how much it cost him, though it didn't really matter as he paid with a rubber cheque lol.

I'll let you know Wednesday night!

Been waiting nearly 9 months to get it done on the NHS. Was quoted ~£450 to get it done private in a few weeks 7 months ago. I was only expecting it to take another couple of months at the time to didn't bother. Wish I had now.

Cheers.

Not that painful but mine took 12 months before everythings was back to 'normal' (i.e. exceptional, ahem), body rejected the stitches, 2 each side which it ejected through the skin, very very slowly in conjunction with a low level infection, lovely, had ultrasound and several visits to the doctors and two weeks off work, still better than a fourth child though !

When taking my samples in the lady asked me if it was my first one, to which I replied, no I have been at it for years.....

Got mine done in less than 2 months on NHS in South Beds area.

Spose it all depends where you are.

Default Not so much pain, but a funny story

A friend of mine was ordered to get it done by his missus and he duly went thru' the process leading to operation itself. On the morning of the operation, he had his wife drop him at the Hospital entrace and went inside, only to watch her drive away from behind a piller.

He then bugga'd off to his mates for a few hours, returning to the Hospital at the alloted time to be picked up by his wife, who was showing a lot of remorse at what she had asked him to go thru'. He took cold feet and started walking the John Wayne walk and groaning a lot, with small movements. He was totally sh!tting himself at this point wondering how to tell her, so he did'nt.

FIVE days of pampering, chicken soup, pillows and quilts on the couch, feeding his doos for him....until.....the nasty letter from the NHS asking him why he never turned up for his appointment he did'nt think that they would send a letter.

He was lobbed out the house, she killed ALL his pidgeons and they are now divorced.....some woman have no sense of humour

No chance - not in this life anyway, I'd rather bag it for the next 15 years.

Sipie not sure if your right on the odds, but you are correct when you say things go wrong. Just before I had mine, 2 guys I worked with theirs went septic, bloody hell never seen anything like them. When I was shown (I was curious) one's ******* was larger than a tennis ball and solid, he had been to the doctors and was on antibiotics. His bits where being held in place by what I would call a sling. It was funny to watch him walk because he couldnt put his legs together. They are okay now and laugh about it but not sure if they would go through it again. Mine no problem no pain just black ACKERS

The doc who did mine knew my mum so I got extra Valium for the op !

So much I was hammered for four hours, hammered enough to watch every stage, never thought I would see my own Gonads from the inside.

Worrying thing is that your body pumps sperm back into your system to be 'absorbed', that just feels a bit gay at first, at least its my own I suppose, never expected to absords anyones sperm, no disrespect to any gay Scoobynetters by the way, fully supportive of your preferences and glad you dont like ladies cos all the ladies always fancy the guys that are that way inclined, so a big thank you ~
