Shock News :- LogicLee's had a HeartAttack
Juut had the news from LogicLee that he's just come out of hospital after having a Heart attack last week
He's ok now.. but has to rest.
He says he'll have to have a few months off work and has been advised not to drive for the time being (this will be the worst part of recovery for the ex McRae owner)
A few tests have still to be done and pill poping, as they can't say wat has brought this on... Lee only being in his early 30's too
Lee's been a very good friend of mine that I met through SN.. many moons ago now.. as we both bought Scoobs at about the same time in 1999.
Even though we don't see each other all the time he would alway be there for me on anything I'd need.. or advice I'd require.. car related or not LoL
So this news has come as a shock to me.
I think many will also wish him the best.
Phil

It's a complex combination of many many factors, of which being 'large' is just one.
At 19, I suspect it was more likely to have been mainly due to one of the other factors, be it heart defect, or whatever....

imlach - too true. a guy i work with went into hospital last week with suspected angina. it's a congenital condition with him, and not directly related to weight or fitness or anything else. he's only about 30.

I was just rather hoping that there was a set of circumstances (e.g. being overweight) that didn't apply to me, so I didn't have to worry about it too much. Being in my early 30s too -- my grandfather on one side had angina (but he wasn't actually biologically related), my grandfather on the other side has a heart defect, and my father has high blood pressure
On my wife's side it's even worse: her mother died of a heart attack aged 59, and her father died of a heart attack aged 36

Phil,
Logiclee posted some very kind words when we had our little excursion at Donnington.
Tell him I haven't forgotten, and I send my most sincere best wishes, and hope he makes a full recovery.
Cheers

My Granddad died of a heart attack age 62 and he was a really slim bloke probably 11 stone max, being slim does not rule out heart attacks by any means, but then again being big obviously doesn't help.
BTW get well soon
