Unhappy Argh- help! BLUETOOTH PASSKEY LOST!

I need to find a way to retrieve my passkey for my Nokia HDW-2 bluetooth headset...
trying to pair it to a new T630, but it keeps saying the passkey (the one I thought it was) is invalid.
Wife threw the box etc away a while back on one of her cleaning 'binges'

HELP!

I'm pretty sure you will need to approach Nokia direct on this one - with a bit of luck they will be able to tell you the pass key by matching the serial no. up with what they have on their records.

Do you still have your proof of purchase? They may request that...

Two options that definitely work on the ericsson headsets:

1) Leave it a week with a flat battery.

2) Check that the passkey isn't 0000. You might be surprised: you're trying to pair with a new device, so the headset may well be starting a new session with a fresh passkey. Certainly other bluetooth devices I have used do this. Dunno about Nokia headsets.

I tried a few HDW-2's and didn't get on with them. I seem to remember the passcode being disguised within the headset serial number somewhere (underneath the battery cover?). Maybe the last 4 digits? (don't quote me though!) I just remember being perturbed at the thought that the "security" was so good!!

Sorry

Just had a quick google and it seems that the passkey is the last 4 digits of the serial number as RB says
