Whenever the missus and I come over to the UK we usually go for a shop in Bluewater - which is a great shopping centre by the way. I would guess around 3 in 10 of all the shoppers there are tracksuit-wearing chavvies.

LOL - working in Reading over the past few months I have seen a massive surge in the population here. Saw a 'proper' chav this morning - full newspaper printed jeans and jacket, off-centre baseball cap with peroxide hair (it looked male) he decided to stand facing downward on an upwards going escalator so he can give everyone the eye (and get eyed).

I'd say there are about 8-10 million chavs in the UK.

I think I am quite lucky to say that the Chav population round here (well- the obvious chavs anyway ) Is not as bad some of you. About 4 to 5 in 10, so you have my sympathies.

But even 1 is too many in my book. Now I'm not a violent person, but when I see them, I'm starting to get an uncontrollable urge to **** them round the head.

Am I a racist then? (against chavs - clearly they are a different race )

Coming back on the ferry from calais last weekend, we were amazed to see a group of lads dressed like refugees from a "Madness" gig: black suits, black ties, white shirts with cuffs turned back outside their suit jacket sleeves, and black trilbies on the backs of their heads. All talking loudly in cockney accents.

Watched a programme the other night about balliffs (sp) and was laughing to myself when they went to a womans house to serve a notice and she lived in a big council house with laminated flooring and about a squillion kids (all paid for by us I bet!!) and she was wearing class burberry mini skirt and every kid had burberry on as well, nearly pi**ed myself, real foul mouthed violent essex type,
