Just bought a road angel and I am not convinced that the "non slip pad" will hold it still. Where/how have others mounted theirs.

yeah best bet is get some stick on velcro from a sewing shop or the velcro stick on number plate things from halfords or such like means you can remove it without too much hassle if you dont wana leave the bulky unit on display for potential thievery as well as changing yer mind about where u want it....the velcro kinda thing supplied with kit is a bit full monty in that it breaks if you try to remove unit as i recall.....

This is how mine is mounted (supplied with car as new by dealer). They have used the bracket supplied and placed the non-slip mat underneath that. The unit is velcroed on to the bracket.

Mines fitted with the plastic velcro supplied. Been on for twelve months never moved an inch.
